The UAX7 B unit housed the group selectors and the secondary linefinders.
Shelf D:
This contains 8 group selectors. These could be used either for local traffic (ie they connected to the linefinders) or they were used for incoming parent traffic.
Shelf C:
This shelf has the secondary finder control relay sets and uniselectors mounted on them.
Shelves B & A:
These shelves form one multiple of 16 local group selectors. The UAX7 group selectors are unusual in that they contain the transmission bridge, which in every other exchange (except possibly Siemens 16 ?) is housed in the final selector.
At the top of the rack is the TDF, with blocks that allow the outlets of the group selectors to be connected to the finals.
