Ringer Rack
The UAX7 always employed ringing machines for the generation of tones. These ringers where of tone drum type, which give a very distictive sound, thus allowing a U7 to be instantly recogisable. The correct panel for use with a U7 is a 'Panel, Ringing No 4', which holds two ringers. These are of two different types, the main ringer is a mains driven machine, which was run continuosly. The reserve machine was a battery drive version.
Unfortunatley I do not have a Panel, Ringer No 4 for use with my UAX7, indeed I don't think there has been one saved. Luckily I do have the tone drum ringing machines, so I intend to reconstruct one.
